Ok, so I used masking tape to secure my temp. registration in my rear window until the MVA sent me my real one. Anyway, after a week of baking in the sun, the adhesive on the tape decided to stay on my window. I've used glass cleaner AND goo gone, but neither has done the trick of taking the adhesive off. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Um... maybe good ol' soap and water? You could also try nail polish remover or something too. :)

That or alcohol. And I don't mean the kind you buy from the beer store either. LOL

If those don't work, try WD-40.

A little thread necromancy, but brake fluid is semi acidic, so it would work well...

9 years of sign making experience has taught me that the proper method of removing residue from glass is window cleaner and a new razor blade. If the window cleaner isn't working, move on to rubbing alcohol.

NEVER use brake fluid or nail polish remover on the exterior of a vehicle! They are very bad for automotive paint!
