Carlisle Events is excited to welcome the dedicated, fun and enthusiastic Scikotics community with members and chapters up and down the East Coast to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, May 14th & 15th, for the first annual SCIKOTICS WARD @ Carlisle gathering, held during the 16th edition of the Carlisle Performance & Style event. Performance & Style, the largest event of its kind on the East Coast (with over 1,600 cars on the judged and non-judged showfields), is billed as more than a car show but rather a motorsports and lifestyle festival – celebrating the hottest trends in the motorsports and custom automotive hobby. Scikotics members and chapters will take over the Carlisle Pavilion, located just across from the exclusive Scion-only judged showfield, with a display of high-end chapter cars to promote Scikotics to the mass of over 20,000 tuner/modern muscle/stance euro and VIP enthusiasts that attend the Performance & Style show each year. Cars that are featured in the pavilion display are able to come-and-go as they please throughout the weekend, unlike indoor display cars.
A group roll-in is being coordinated from a local Scion dealership to the show early on Saturday to show the Carlisle crowd that Scikotics are coming and coming hard! Details on the roll-in and how to participate will be posted soon.
In addition to the SCIKTOICS WARD @ Carlisle, Performance & Style will present gatherings, competitions, activities and displays including special guest: 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.; Best-of-Carlisle and Carlisle Elite top-flight cash prizes; legendary motorcycle stunt team, the StarBoyz; a parked-by-class judged showfield; Modern Muscle Nationals, remote control drifting competitions; a Euro/Stance indoor invitational display, presented by Low Life & Junk Style; the ICE House – displaying custom vehicles with a focus on in-car-entertainment; NICOFest autocross racing; the Manufacturers Midway and Swap Meet vending areas and the famous Carlisle Burnout and Bikini contests.
