I've seen a few Nitrous Oxide Kits out there for about $600 or so in that price range. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed one of these on their ride and how well it worked. Sites claim its a safe modification. I guess I am just wondering if this is something worth looking into.

If used in the right moderation, yes. I would keep it simple with a 50 wet shot. It's a great power adder for cheap. Keep your bottle pressure at 1000 psi and run the 50 shot and you won't need to play with timming or anything. Basicly plug and play. Use a TPS activated system and not just a WOT switch.
Any more questions just ask

I've seen it installed on a tC and the car ended up with bent valves and other serious engine problems. Do you think a site that sold it would say "buy our kit, but it isn't safe to use"? Yes, it can help out and aid in performance, but FAR too many buy it without doing their research and end up popping their engine. If you want to put nitrous on your car, go for it, but do lots of reading before you do.
