alright so i wanna dress up my engine bay, i want 2 paint my engine cover, but i dont have another car 2 drive while its being painted...so is it ok 2 drive with out if for awhile?

i want 2 like shave off the letters...16 valve and vvti shit but its not solid, ya know what im tryin 2 say?...the letters just go up, so i cant sand them down...wanted 2 put scikotics on it...anybody got ideas on this??
