Cool, so if I use a high heat 1200 degree engine paint, it should hold up and not turn colors?

lol. i was thinking of doing the same thing. i think autozone has some 2000 degree engine paint that i was thinking about getting and painting mine black. u think that it would cut back on some heat? or at least just look cool? if so ima do my intake as well.

Well I did the intake already, that doesn't get hot, but I'm looking to paint my header too.

yea i know about the intake. it does get a lil warm from being combined under the engine bay with the header but anything to hurt anything. but yea i hear what your saying. dude im about to get rid of my header. and just run s pipe back.
