headlight problem

is there a wrong way to install the headlight cus im having an issue, my ballast for one of my hids went bad so i sent it back and im waiting for a new one, i reinstalled the oem bulb according to factory spec and the beam isnt in the right place, the low beam is in the high beam area and the high beam is in the low beam area. im assuming there is only one way the bulb can fit in the socket but please correct me if i am wrong. i need help asap cus im havin some serious ocd with the situation.

i reinstalled the oem bulb again and yea it still doesnt work :/ the bulb was slight out the socket b4 but now its in there tight but now the beam pattern is even worse. idk what to do at this point anymore

theres only one way the light can fit into the socket, im thinkin what has me bothered is that the hid light is brighter and im trying to compensate for that with the oem bulb. its in the right spot now, the low beam is in the upper portion of the housing and the high beam shines thruout the whole housing.
