View Full Version : Weird grinding noise

Hey all. I recently dropped my box on nf210 springs on stock shocks and struts. 2 weeks later I'm now experiencing a grinding noise in the rear right side when I go over a bump of any kind. It's def only the rear right. I'm not rubbing or scraping. Could I possibly have a blow strut?
Any help is much appreciated.

Nvm found out my right rear spring popped outta the cup and is wedged against the frame

Um, that's no bueno! Did you catch air lately? LOL. Just for future reference, you don't have struts in the rear, only in the front. The rears are coils and shocks.

Passenger side? Yea, that might have been my bad...although, I was sure I installed it correctly. At least it's a quick fix. Take longer to get the jack out and the car up than to fix it.

That be true if I had tools. Hooray for forklifts, 2x6s, and adjustable wrenchs. Got it fixed. So we'll see. Might to take it out again to paint it...alotta the powdercoating got scraped off.
