Here is what I did today...I was really bored. I googled it, and found it on a civic forum.

There is a flake in there. I used Krylon's metallic spray paint. The only problem that I am kind of scared becuase I didnt use that high of a heat resistance paint. I did used the high heat primer, and the high heat clear coat. I did 30 min drive, and everything is still fine, so I should be good.

Looks awesome. Let us know how it holds up! I'd was thinking about doing that to mine but in green.

throw some clear on it, and give it a wax and she'll look perfect

I did the same thing to mine, only I keep the VVT-i part silver - it looks exceptional with the blue flake paint, since I did it the same color....

Did mine as well with the metallic blue flake and a dark blue....got sorta cammo effect. will post pics soon. I will be also using regular automotive clear coat thanks to a fellow member that has access. Comes out real shiny.

I really like it, i had mine powder coated a couple years ago to match, but then i saw my friends supercharged tiburon's valve covers polished so i did that and i liked it a little more. Very shiny:

Looks real good!!
Like mentioned before, definitely throw some clear coat and wax on it. That will set it off nicely. Nice work, keep it up!!

Looks good! I have paint sitting in my room. I've just been too lazy to get around to it. Maybe I'll have time this weekend.

I had a S/C tC and polished my valve cover too. It looks nice but is a pain in the ass to keep up.
