Anybody that has ever installed their own headliner, c-pillars, etc.. i need help. local autoshops want to charge me 350-400 to do it, and personally im not up to spend that dough on fabric. im either doing suede or black snakeskin, any pictures or instructions would help greatly, thanks ahead of time!!

Pillars are a snap! Pull the old material off, spray on some 3M heavy duty glue, and wrap. Headline for the tC's is a huge PITA!!! To many contures and then you have the sunroof to go around. Just use the same method, spray on and wrap, but you have to have something that has some stretch to it for the headliner.
Just follow the instructions on the can for the glue. Think it's like 3 coats and the 3rd one go the opposite way, and let sit for like 5-10 minutes before you start.
Try to get something with a backing to it, because it helps if you can spray the back of that too with glue. If it's not thick, it will seep through to the front of the fabric.
Hope that helps.

use denatured alcohol, spray it let it soak then peel it up, just make sure to wear a resperator or youll get high as a kite. takes a while but it works
i also used contact cement and sprayed it thru a paint spray gun, worked good. i always had a problem with the 3m stuff even the high grade stuff no matter how much i used and the contact cement hasnt budged, once its stuck ITS STUCK.also worked good for the pillars too

so i found a site that sells carbon fiber vinyl and i was thinking about doing it on my headliner, pillars and door panel inserts. is vinyl stretchy enough to do the headliner? and also does anyone have pics of the process for wrapping the tc h-liner? thanks!
