Does anyone have the Injen Cold Air Intake for an '08 tC with the by-pass?

I want to know what it was like installing and kinda get a feel for what I'm going to get myself into...

Any help would rock. Thanks, guys.

agree, take your time. getting the lower section through the wheel well is the tough part. I would reccomend removing the drivers side wheel and plastic tubbin (and front bumper of course) to maybe give you some more room.

I have a aem 3" bypass if you need one too.

You should jus go with the short ram! It is soooo much easier, you get more of a rumble and you don't have to even take the chance of worrying about the dealer saying the reason your engine locked is because your CAI. Even if you have a bypass(They have a slew of post about engines locking up because of CAIs on scionlife)and the dealer tries to blam it on you for having a CAI
imo jus go with short ram

yeah Im thinking about going with the black INJEN CAI for an 07 but hearing alot of people talking about the engine locking up ONLY (if your driving through major floods and rivers) I have never heard of anyone TC locking up on them but I definately going INJEN (for the cost you are getting what you paid for!)

Just curious... for a Plan: B lol Whats the best thing to go for under short ram? ... I know Injen just makes them for the xB?

I was planning on doing the cai but once i got it and actually took a look at what i would have to do for the install I jus used the short pipe on the injen cai to make a short ram!

I kno that doesnt help out too much... but thats what i did
