View Full Version : Kentucky shirts?

We discussed getting new chapter shirts last year and it fell through waiting on a dealer to pick up the design and prices. Since it would be cheaper to do a larger order would there be enough interest from both KY chapters to get an all-KY shirt?

Any ideas and designs can be posted in here as well.

I know this is late but id rather just do chapter shirts. We need to really be cracking on it. I'll again, try and get a design together and then we will talk to the dealer see if they want to chip in and we will throw their logo on it

Definitely need a new banner. I am working on shirts right now, I am also going to contact a few friends i have online that are still into graphics designing like I use to be and see if they wouldn't care to mock me up something.

We should be taking the xD and tC over for alignments this week. I'm going for max camber so I can get more low.

Nate, I can do up some cool designs for a banner or some soft goods for CKY. (I went to art school, hence why I'm unemployed)

I see Dara regularly so I can talk things over with him about how many colors they want to pay for too. (Is Dara on here?)

Dara said he'd cover the cost and get them made for us if se get him a photoshop design. Talked to him for awhile the other day, sent you a Fb message about everything we went over.

I'm real bad to read the email notification for PMs and not get around to replying.

Sounds like a good plan to me. It would be good to see Cinci and Louisville come to town for it too. I'll talk with the NKY guys I know too. Once we have a date set we should get everything going.

For now I'm trying to get everything sorted out with us and then present it to the other clubs. We need details and exact dates/times/etc before publicizing. Hence going through messages instead up public venues.

Scion's waiting for us to get our shit together long enough to make a plan to present to them. Nichville wants multiple events. We've got the green light on all ends but our own which is why I'm trying to meet up with you and Josh at some point asap.

I'm good for most anytime as long as it doesn't over lap another event (IA, Exposed, Steet Life, IFO etc.) We need to be sure we get enough lead in time to get the other chapters interested and involved.

How many are they willing to get made? I suppose it'll depend on what is on them but that'll be the depending factor.

I almost want to say we could get maybe 20 or 30 out of them. No clue what sizes people want. I would guess mostly Md, Lg & Xl. Do we have anybody smaller than a md or bigger than an XL?

Ok, I'll stop by tomorrow (provided Dara's in) and see how many he wants to do. He might be up for making a decent amount for future events with the club. Pitch it as an investment. Sciko's aren't going anywhere anytime soon, nor is Nicholasville Scion. I think a lot will depend on how well we schedule the year out and the items we discussed at dinner.

Either way I'll get a number from him and present the following ratio's for shirts given the number he offers total.

Md: 15%
Lg: 30%
Xl: 40%
2X: 15%

Let me know if you think I should switch the Xl and Lg ratios.

I have an idea for the back design but I'm not good at explaining it.

I'm thinking of something kinda like my old avatar but of the front and more basic. If it was on a black shirt the car would be white and then have the headlights, windshield, and grills in black. Just enough that you could tell what the car is.

I don't know, I wouldn't see that, even now and think "Oh look, a tC" or anything Scion related. Just my thoughts and I may be alone on that one.

I think we need to keep it open, not specific at all really. Have the sponsor logo on the back somewhere if we have 2 images on there.

Agreed. Maybe being in Lexington with UK have a mix with the Wildcat and the Scikotics logo? (not that I even like UK but its a thought for region.) We'd have to tweak the kitty cat to avoid copyright nonsense. It would be nice to have something different than all the other sciko t-shirts though.

Well since we are central ky, it applies more to us and to label the central you could do a state outline with a scion logo or the Scikotics straight jacket guy in our area with the main logo and things above it or something.

You should tell that CKY president to put down the Redbook and get on it...
