If you can afford a stand alone thats the way to go, i had issues with the aem fic so i used the greddy emange blue but ultimate is the way to go Are you boosted or going to?

None of the above, those all suck!

Don't waste your money on some low-budget problematic crap.
Thats not to say you need Motec but you may want to look at Haltech. It's reliable and a whole lot more tuneable. Even Gotech would be nice. But if you want a nice piece check out Haltech

You'll be fine with any of your choices. No need in spending the money on above mentioned stand alones. Of course, unless, you have the cash to burn.

My question for you is: Are you only going to run the TRD S/C or do you plan on upgrading to something else?

If not no reason to go to a 550cc injectors. Yes Uni-chip does suck. But if you have no plans on using a system that creats more boost than you might want to rethink your plan.

I've seen other pulleys available to create more boost for the TRD S/C so you could go that route than perhaps go to a 380cc injector and then out of the piggy backs you've mentioned I would use the AEM/fic.

Than you could run your return style fuel line and the AEM/fic will do the rest.

If you plan on adding a turbo thats of descent size than the 550cc injectors would be worth it as well as Haltech ECU would be the best option. You could than control the VVTI and full control of your tune.

If you have the money, get the standalone (AEM EMS). As far as piggybacks, my vote goes for the F/IC. I had that on my tC and loved working with it. Fairly easy and straight forward. I had no issues with it and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Plus, the logging and various math libraries available on their forums was really nice in doing various data logging sessions.

"Even with a decent tune, you're gonna lean out in your upper RPMs. What I've learned so far is that adding a larger fuel pump (like a Walbro 255lph) isn't enough - in fact, chances are it's not even going to be necessary. However you HAVE to increase your injector size. 550cc Injectors are the order of the day and will even work with your TRD updated fuel rail. What you want are the 550cc injectors made by www.deatschwerks.com (http://www.deatschwerks.com/) "

Im tryn to go off his build jus tweak it along he way and id rather have a program thatll last me and i can use ovr and ovr without complications, This is why must do 550cc --- and even IF he was wrong in any what way id rather have more than enough then not enough. The shop that tuned the unichip for my tC said the same thing that im lean out. And yes plan to do some engine work...1 day

Thnx ALOT DEZOD!! that was very informative especially liked the pick ur poison part!

SO mayb u can help me narrow it down. Money not worried about the price. My tC is a DD and i dont plan to go any higher than 300hp for the time being. (jus this yrs goal for now) I want one to start with then in the future get a new one. My tC has a limiter on it that the dealer placed makn my tC where i top out at 115mph before it cuts my speed bck down, so i really jus wanna get past that and the Greddy ultimate can do this.....but if i can use the AEM F/IC and reach the numbers i want then id rather go with it especially since the accessorie gauges work best with the AEM unit....i use my tC as a sprinter, soooo.......

i'm thinkn AEM F/IC??
