Hey everyone, my parents gave me $500.00 to spend on my B, no I dont know what to get, I already know im buying projector headlights, now what to spend the other $400.00 on?? . . . I already made my decision I will not be getting exhaust, because everyone says It will sound stupid with an automatic car, so I will mostr likely just get headers and air intake, (K&N intake, and DC headers??) . . I need some help. on what will look nie on the in and outside of my B, so cmon lemme have some ideas on what YOU would get, and I already got a sound system (Not getting subs, because I dont want them) . . lol

1. Exhaust on an automatic doesn't sound stupid. Several people in the DFW have them and it sounds fine if not better.

okay, so about $600.00 for the whole air intake, headers, and exhaust . . .hmm, lol.. because typhoon is $199.99 + shipping, and headers and exhaust are $390.00 + shipping, damn, mine aswell order them till I get my next pay check, but damn me to hell, I already bought my projectors for $150.00 so i got $350.00 left, damn so if it was up to you, would you get the headers and exhaust first, or air intake first, and just spend the rest thats left over from the air intake on some other sh!t??

The order that you install the parts is not going to affect anything...
I would get the intake first just b/c it'll help your gas mileage a little bit....but it really doesn't matter which you get first

The order I would get them in is intake, exhaust, header. They will all make a difference in performance (though negligible on a 103 hp motor), but if Alex is right, you might as well improve your gas mileage first. Then exhaust because people will see that, and lastly header. My gas mileage sucks (25 mpg, maybe), but I don't exactly drive like a grandma. Kinda gotta push the car more to get decent performance out of it. But man, I can take turns like a motherfucker.

Get the YDR intake Alex mentioned. It's like $85 and comes with a K&N filter. It's more of a short ram and it's polished. Brandon has it.

The K&N Typhoon actually adds 4 hp, probably the same as the YDR. But on the Typhoon, people have had problems with the filter actually falling off the pipe.

Personally I'd rather spend the extra cash and have the AEM powdercoated already, but that's just me and my laziness...
