i just dropped my box 2" all the way around, and took it to 4 shops to have it alligned. the first 3 told me they couldnt do it and the 4th said it looked ok just to watch my tires for wear. my question is if anyone has had to use the adustable camber bolts after dropping. my front tires are starting to feather on the inside, the drivers side a little and the pass quite a bit.

I lowered mine about the same as you, and i took mine to the toyota dealer for an alignment. I was very happy with the job. They gave me a readout of all the angles so i knew what corner was effed up the most.

Dude, find a better shop. You should at least get the measurements from them. Then you can see what is in spec and what is out of spec for yourself.

if they are feathering, thats usually toe. my box is dropped damn near 5inches and im still pretty close to spec. i always tell people to have whoever is aligning the car to set the toe to as close to 0 as possible. toe will chew up tires much faster than camber, i mean extreme camber will kill you tires, but anything around -1 or -2 degrees isnt going to chew up tires that fast.

i have an article more directed to honda people, but goes in depth about toe and camber. pm for the info
