yeah, i bought the tank/compressor/bags for the rear/lines/and valves...

im gonna keep everyone updated on what im doing, seeing as how im following a friends advise on this and building my own system...

this is going to be very simple.. only movement will be front up/down rear up/down... just enough to drop me at shows and put me up when i need to go anywhere...

but my one question so far is, where can i find scraper bars??? thats my goal.. drop the ass end at 60 and shower those behind me in sparks...

I have not seen an actual kit made for the B's yet but I have seen someone shoot sparks with one. They used some small leaf springs mounted vertically with titanium blocks bolted to the bottom.

yeah, im crazy hardcore...

i actully picked some drag blocks up from ebay for only $20... i think that i could weld some 2" wide by however long tabs on the support under the rear bumper, then thrangulate it for stregnth..

Is that it :ponder: I'm intrested

nope... that is just the tank compressor (in the box), the air line, and the 5 gallon, 4 port tank (which is freaking huge)

and yes, the air line is red, because in the back the brake and fuel lines are black, and i get confused very easily

ups says the bags and pressure switch (which will shut the compressor off when the tank hits 145psi) will be here today
the rear brackets will be here monday

all i need are the valves... and those are a local purchase...

next week is the install...

So for 600 benjies you have a airbag system. WOW  I feel like taking a trip to florida. I was looking at universal air suspension since they have brackets specifically for scions but they want to much for their bags and compressor. I need to investigate this further :ponder: I am sooo glad christmas is around the corner.

keep in mind... THIS IS JUST THE REAR AT THE MOMENT...

for the front you need a specific, front strut with bag cobonation that is ionly availavble at certain places... and that is where the expensive part f the system is... because they are only $430 a peice

I see universal air suspension is charging 189.00 for the front sleeve style bags.

yes... i have seen those... but, they will not fit the front struts.. you have to get the full replacement strut in the front... although i have though about doig an S10 front suspension swap... i kinda have all the parts in my garage, upper and lower control arms, ball joints, spindles. etc...

the only thing i would have to fab would be mounting tabs.. which wouldnt be hard... but i dont feel like doing all that work

ok so after a legnthy discussion with my local crew... i came to decide what im gonna do with the tank...

now remember, i have a 4 port tank...

1 port will be the inlet for the compressor
1 port will have a T for the front valves
1 port will have a T for the rear valves..

now the 4th valves you ask yourself... what would you ever do with this...

well i could run big horns...

but everyone has those...

but who has air tools in their car... i will

$430 a piece on the front, what brand is that? I was looking at using easy street fronts off gaugemagazine.com for a little over $500 but they have a little positive camber problem. Right now i have the rear fbi kit, 2 firestone 2500lb bags, tanks, 4 old school thomas compressors, AVS 9 switch box and 2 3 way valves but i just cant decide if i want to finish the system out, it was kinda nice driving 8+ hrs to roswell and not worrying about anything.
