Hey so I have everything I need to put it all together...
but..
I can run my original plan of having a cast iron log manifold.. but the rust it produced on itself and how it didn't fit my ideal look on how I wanted it to.. I am deciding to look into spending a little bit more money and buying a more to my liking turbo manifold. I am looking for suggestions.. I need it to have a TiAL Vband Style Wastegate, if not.. i know there are 2 bolt to vband adapters. I need to make sure on the size but I believe it is a 38mm.
The turbo I had bought for the tC is a HOLSET H1C. Pretty nifty turbo if you ask me. Its a T3 Mount so I would need the TM to have T3 or T3/T4 flange.
The guy who I had bought the turbo off of had converted the Hotside of the Turbo to a Vband Setup.. I had already bought a Vband DP but it doesn't fit correctly. I had come to realize when the guy had welded the Vband Hotside onto the turbo it sticks out more.. resulting in the incorrect fitment.. so in my eyes, I know I would have to get a custom Vband DP made for me, I never dealt with that kinda work.. anyone know estimated prices so I know what im looking to pay..?
I am also looking for a better FMIC kit. I have an ebay one which I do not like at all.. I know they have some 5PC setups out there but I don't know where to look and I don't know what the decent pay for a decent FMIC kit would run.. so if anyone knows of a good 4pc, 5pc FMIC kit please direct me with a link.
