I was wondering what you guys thought about this kit. I own a stereo shop and would like to bag our xb demo vehicle. I would like it to go pretty low but would rather not cut the vehicle too much. Any ideas?...

Talk to Don (ROFL Box) here on the boards. He should be able to give you all the info you need on bagging your car. This guy knows air ride. He should be chiming in anytime in this thread.

Ahhhhh, another air ride thread

The only thing that I dont like about the FBI kit is that they use Easy Street front struts... I have had a ton of problems with the xA/xB front struts... the valves that they give you are 1/2 inch, now those arent bad for filling, but for dumping they are a bit harsh... a 3/8 valve is what i ran in both the kits ive built to fill and dump...

the install isnt hard, just tedious and will take you about 10 hours if this is the first kit youve done (i am rentable to come and help you out, seeing as you are in MS)

you can always get adjustment caps for the valves if you want brad

Suicidedoors.com is my best friend (http://www.suicidedoors.com/38NPTValveDumpControl.php)

if you take the rear bracket and cut the bottom and top cups in half, and pop the rear shocks out, you can get the rear bumper to sit on the ground...

Thanks guys. Yeah im sure putting it on will not be a problem. Next door to me is a 4 wheel drive shop and the guys over there do alot of lifts and some lowering. And they have 3 carlifts! I also have a friend that has done countless bag setups and about 5 or 6 bodydrops, so he can also help. Can anybody send me some pics of this on their rides. Im mainly concerned with the overall stance and height.
thanks,
cole

I have this kit ordered for my box. It should be here on Thursday and I just so happen to have next week off. I talked to FBI and with Jeremy at Easy Street and they said the kit is shipping with the newest version of the struts (just released within the past 2 months or so) and hopefully the siezing and clunking will not be an issue. I am sceptical, but we will see. If I don't get lazy, I am going to take a crapton of pics as I go and write up a little guide. I bought the slowdown valves with the kit. Good luck with it!

I actually have a combination of Suicide Doors and FBI Rides air ride. I ordered some parts from each company, but I think the bags and struts came from Suicide Doors. I wouldn't recommend using Suicide Doors as a company because their customer service sucks a big one. I love the air ride I have on mine because it is not like everyone elses. Most of everyone's pops and goes up and down very quickly. Mine is a very smooth up and down and it fits just perfectly. I have 1/2 inch valves and line. Here is a picture of my box on the ground.

Page two has the pictures of my box on the ground. If that link doesn't go to the write site then his myspace link is

Well, I recieved everything from FBI today. The fronts are supposed to be dropshipped from Easy Street. Jeremy from Easy Street said in a post today on ClubXB "Hey man what's up?! The noise is all taken care of, we are currently reworking the bottom mount to allow for more camber adjustment. The test vehicle's we used did not have any issue with positive camber so we thought the issue was fixed. The problem will be fixed shortly!" So I am guessing the camber issues are still there which is rediculous. I am now waiting to see if I get the old struts which suck, the new ones which suck too or have to wait for 2 months to get one that still isn't fixed....:deadhorse:

On the good side, everything from FBI looked nice. The rear mounts look simple and solid and I will begin install this weekend.

I just recieved the fronts yesterday and they look good! The bottom mount looks like it will have plenty of camber adjustment, and hopefully will lay the box out pretty well! Hopefully will have on within a couple of weeks. Here is a pic of the newly designed fronts from Easy Street...http://a162.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/20/l_63fe28a194e4ac4d3eb50b285cfd1b31.jpg
