so i have recently developed a ticking noise from the front left wheel that only exist when the box is rollin.

tik..tik..............tik..tik................tik. .tik........................... i cant fukin stand it any more. its not a cv joint blown. not a cv clamp rattling. not my trim ring on the wheels rattling. i havent hit any think that would be trapped behind the wheel. i have pulled the front end of the box apart trying to find it. jacked it up and rested it on stand then ran it in gear and no noise. only does it with the suspension loaded. but i dont suspect it is suspension related. ( stock springs 4x4  )

any body had anything similar to this happen. my damn box sounds like a bicycle with playing cards in the spokes.

and it is getting louder. any advise would be appreciated.

Kiss had the same problem with his box and it drove us insane. We actually took it to the dealership and they ran every test imaginable on it. They took the trim rings off and the noise stopped. They put them back on and the noise continued. Once we got the new wheels put on the noise hasnt come back since.

I know you said stock suspension..but.. check the center bolt of the front struts, pull the inspection cover on the top, takes about 5 seconds to get off and see if the nut is loose, I chased that problem for a while myself on my xB and the wifes tC !!

a screw on the tire?

i wanna bet if it only happens with the load on it, is a screw on the tire.

My vote is this also, with load it actually hits the pavement, check your tire, it will be the cheapest fix.

My click turned out to be the trim rings.
