What's up everyone. I'm planning on getting a scion. Yes, I don't have a scion but i'm going to look at one this following Wednesday. I just graduated High School yesterday. I drive a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with a 2 inch lift and 32" by 10.5" tires. Well as everyone knows gas is a killer and I'm only getting 11 mpg ! So the jeep is going to my dad and I've always like the scion so i'm thinking of getting one. My dad is also thinking of getting the 2nd gen xB that came out. It looks niiice ! Anyway that's my story as of now. I live in lyndhurst, nj which is about 5 mins away from the Giants Stadium. Anybody live in the Bergen County area? I can't wait to get a scion. I'm not sure either to get a used one or new since i'm going to be paying the car and the insurance myself..

Alright everyone I think I just seen my baby ! She's beautiful. The color of her is Absolutely Red, she has 32k miles, and they are asking $14,900 for her. The interior is Dark Charcoal/Red Cloth, and of course 5 speed manual. I forgot to take pictures, I was too excited lol.

Rudy, I'm you and i'll stay for a while with those rims. Those rims cost about 2,000 from the dealer, and only the Rs1 TC brings it unless you pay the 2,000 to get them from the dealer. By the way I dont live in Bergen County but I work there in Moonachie.

Clean RS 1. And thats a good price for it. I'd pick it up for sure. If you have any questions about the car, or need opinions, we're here to help.

Welcome to the family!

Uh oh.. The car dealer has called us and told my dad that there was another person interested in the tC before us and they might still want it. They said we will know whether the car is still available by Thursday. Which I think is bs but they showed me another Scion that I didn't see on the lot. It's pretty nice as well but it has some mileage on it. Here are some pictures..

They want $12,995 and it has 66,454 miles on it. I'm not so crazy about the mileage on the car though..

One thing with any brand with any dealership is Don't settle. If you're looking at pre-owned, there are quite a few available in the area.

Oakdale, NY (http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&pageNumber=1&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_423_%7CD-_7656_%7CN-N%7CR-75%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-07456&aff=national&paId=270367642&recnum=51&leadExists=true)

Niiiiice ! I will definitely contact this dealer. I like the way the red looks on the tC. It seems to stand out a lot. You found a manual one too ! Every other one that I seemed to find was automatic. I can't stand automatic. I find it boring. haha thanks man I appreciate it. I'll call them up monday afternoon since they are probably closed on sunday like every other dealer.

Remember, they're NY/PA... no blue laws, so they might actually be open tomorrow.

Thats too many miles on it, its better to keep Matts advice and not to settle for the first tc you see. I like the red too, I saw one in Pa airbrushed and it look beautiful.

The 2nd link that Matt posted was the scion I was looking at in the first place. Which is in PA. The first link he posted is the one that i'm going to call tomorrow afternoon. I might also check out East Coast Scion which I think is in Wood Ridge.

I have a question what's different on a 05 rs1 tC than a regular 05 tc? I'm going this saturday to check it out, I can't wait.

For one, the color (all Release Series have a unique color). The Enkei wheels, interior color, limited edition numbering, and body kit I think. Probably a few other things I can't remember.

Welcome to Scikotics!

Here is all the info on the RS1 tC:

The tC Release Series 1.0 features a bright exterior body color, Absolutely Red,
with unique details, such as color-keyed strut tie bar, battery tie down and billet
oil cap. The exterior is rounded out with a distinctive sports grille and
aggressively styled 18” alloy wheels in a dark graphite finish.

The interior of the Release Series is adorned with subtle, black seat fabric with
red highlights designed to complement the Absolutely Red exterior color. Other
interior enhancements include: specially badged Release Series floor mats and
cargo mat, exclusive Release Series brushed aluminum door sills, and
individually numbered badging in each Release Series car.
Only 2,500 units of the tC Release Series 1.0 will be available.
