i just got four tsw 17" gunmetal wheels with a polished lip for free. two are in great shape. one has hit a pothole and broken and the other is a completely different offset and finish. im looking to either sell the two good ones or find two more that match so i can run them on my box. the tire on the messed up one says 205/40-17 so im guessing that its 20 offset but im not sure. anyone know how to find out??? does anyone know what these wheels are called??

Wait, what does the tire size have to do with rim offset?

they came off of another xB and the wheel chart says that the size on it is used in a 20 offset configuration. i knew that question would come up.. honestly i have no clue of offset but from a quick guess thats what i came up with.

I didn't mean to be a smartass...seriously.... Sorry.... LOL I just didn't read the whole paragraph til bout 3 minutes ago... All I saw was what the wheels were called.... But here is a site I found that will tell you how to measure the offset....

Now,IDK if that helps, but I will direct a buddy of mine to this thread and he should be able to help.

check for a sticker on the inside of the wheels or a stamp in the metal somewhere (normally on the inside of a spoke or in the mounting area under the center cap)? should have 17x# and et## or (##et). if that sticker is on there that should give you the entire spec on the wheel. If not, from some digging i've done the 17x7 wheels are +42 and the 17x8 wheels are +20 (not certain that those are the only specs). you can measure the width of a rim by taking a tape measure and measuring the gap of the tire beads inside of the lips (not outside to outside).
If neither of these help you, you could always pitch tsw customer service an email and i'm sure they could help.
or you could try to actually measure it. to measure it youd have to find the distance in mm between the back of the mounting pad and the center of the wheel
