Painted? Coated? What?!?!

The OEMs on the TCs... are they painted silver? Just Glossed? Coated? Or What? I know they are alloys... but I can't figure this out.

I'm trying to figure out what I need to be ready for when it comes to stripping them in order to Coat them.

dude you just need to clean them really well,, then you sand,, and then you paint

if you're going to powder coat them you're going to have to bead/media blast them anyway. if you're going to paint them sand them really good and make sure they are super clean and spray away! make sure you have that crap on thick because it's most likely just going to chip off if you paint it. talk to a local powder coat guy and see what they charge. we have a guy that does it for $200 for all four!
