Didn't know if anyone had seen or heard any reviews on GlowShift brand gauges and pods. They are super cheap and you can get them in custom packages... was wondering if these were a great deal or just junk?

i used to have them they are a great way to get started, now im slowly upgrading to megan racing meters, the megan racing ones are nice cause they are tinted, but they only come with white illumination, those are about $50 each on ebay

I've got teh water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure gauges from Glowshift and they are really good, I have the tinted 7-color series. I only wish they would come out with a speedo, they have everything else.
Glowshift is violent b approved

I got an xB two pod a-pillar, boost gauge and volt tinted gauge from them. The boost gauge works well, the volt meter broke after three months. The pod wasn't full length, so I had to graft it to my stock a-pillar with fiberglass and filler, then repaint the whole thing. Three gauge pillars may be full length, I'm not sure. The tinted gauges are hard to read during the day.

I bought it a few weeks ago and I have to say im pleased with the quality of the gauges. I got the oil and trans temp and vac. they are the tinted series.
I have an 08 rs4 tC with the side airbags and with most people its hit and miss on installing an a pillar gauge. I only used one screw at the very top and 3m velcro next to the airbag. the bottom is held in place without anything because its a tight fit. The actual a pillar came in a little warped, dont know if it was made like that or from the shipping which made getting everything flush kinda hard. our chapter has a rs1 tc and he also put the glowshift gauges and it looks nice. he used more screws to make it flush but he doesnt have side airbags.
hey violent b, how did you hook up the oil temp? thanks bro
ps, taking the factory a pillar takes a little finesse, have a crowbar handy.

May I ask for some pictures or yours and/or the rs1 of the a pillar setups? I'd very much apreciated it, thank you.

how hard is it for a beginner car guy like me to install these gauges?
what would you recommend for my car?
its an 06 auto tc with only a cai.
only thing i think is worth noting is that it gets 100+ usually here daily.

Personally, I love my Stewart Warner gauges. I am running boost/vac, exhaust gas temperature, and oil pressure under the radio door. I made the carbon/kevlar panel myself and really like the placement (I have never been a fan of A pillar pods).

Glow Shift is my sponsor and their gauges are great! I myself got the Silver 7 Series Boost, Exhaust and Oil Press.
Dude where did you re-route your radio to?

Headunit was moved to my glovebox and I have a wired remote stalk on the left side of my steering column.

Thank you adam, the pictures are great!
This is my first time with needing any type of aftermarket gauging so the a pillar setup is still new and cool for me and I am wanting to keep a more precise eye on my supercharger.

I got the oil filter adapter from Glowshift. I put my oil temp and oil pressure sensors there. a word of advice if you use the adapter, make sure the plugs you put in the openings you are not using have teflon tape and tightend down really good, otherwise you will have leaks. trust me, I know, 2 times (one on my Scion and one on my Astro).
