Hey all, if you are interested in signing a petition that has been around for a little while that may one day lead to the abolition of the front license plate, check out the link below. I just signed it as number 1997. Check it out!

Same here. I have never seen or heard of any "PetitionOnline" petitions actually going through or even being presented. I've seen these petitions to get rid of dihydrogen monoxide before. It is one nasty chemical, look it up.

After reading all of the bad stuff associated with dihydrogen monoxide, I decided to just stick with beer...its safer.

I got pulled over the other day by a state trooper for my back plate holder partially covering my registration tag. He them proceeded to check license registration, insurance, all my lights front to back and had to roll up my windows to see if there was any tint. Never once said anything about my front license plate. I ended up getting a $127.00 tint ticket!

That sucks Dave... I got the same ticket for my 42% reading on the way back from Alex's Thanksgiving meet up in Ames last year. I got pulled over a year ago this past May and got two tickets, one for my tint ($80 at the time) and $75 for no front plate. That is why I'm rocking the P-Tuning license plate bracket now.
I don't get it still... The states around us having tint laws that are 35% or higher, but we're stuck with 70%. Many states don't require front plates, we do. The state of Iowa are just a bunch of haters, haha!

That's because Iowa is a known haven for criminals that attack police officers from behind their tinted windows. Everyone with tinted windows and no front license plate is a criminal. Luckily, we have the fine citizens riding their Harley's with exhaust amplifiers that watch the cop's backs so they are allowed to run the loud pipes. I'm glad that they are trying to reform the extremely dangerous state of Iowa.

I'm going to watch my back for those low-lifes because I live in the eye of that criminal storm they call Iowa.
