Have you rented from Hollywood Video

As the title states. Did you rent from them in the last 6 months before they closed. If so you may want to check you credit report. I found oit yesterday that they sent me to a collection co. They are trying to charge me double on late fees that were paid at the store. I called the co yesterday and they were complete ass holes. Today i will be calling the state attny general for help. Then if that dose not work then my lawyer. I will keep you posted.

**update**

So i finaly got a collection letter. Only after i called the co. So today i will have my lawyer write a letter for me to disput the claim. I ordered my credit report that this was reported to and it is not listed on it. Big mess but at least it is not costing me $ just time.

So the letter has been writen by the lawyer. So now a waiting game starts.

Legally they have to respond for proof of debt if you write them to send proof. If they don't you can get it thrown out by disputing it with the credit bureaus.
