Sunday show. I'm working on a place for a little Saturday night pre show get together. Maybe at the dealer. I'll keep you posted.

I have Scott working on some cool ideas for a pre show get together. :up: He needs a head count soon as possible. Stop by the scionlife topic and let them know if you are in.

I'm a little over a 2 hour ride from Springfield. I have room here, but I hope to find a place to crash up there Saturday night. Anyone is welcome to stay at my place Friday night and hang out, and we can head out sometime Saturday from here.

Cathy and shareindie... we'll get together pretty soon and get this chapter rolling. I have member #4 getting reg'd now. WOOT!!! As for the drop down screens, let me see what I can do, just let me know what size you are looking for and I'll get with my guy and see what he has.

As for S3, aside from the rain, it was a pretty good show last year. A little disorganized perhaps, but for a first time event, it went over pretty well. Everyone that can make it really should make an effort to be there.

If anyone is intrested in a stop off point, I'm about a 2 hour ride from Springfield if anyone wants to hang out, or crash here Friday or Saturday before noon. tons of room, beds, a camper, tools for those last second add ons.

Thank's Rob, I appreaciate that, but I did look into the accomodations and found something kinda compariable. Horberg has some ideas for the pre-party activities, but I am with Jon and like the idea of a glow off at the hotel! :dance:
The Ramada Limited is a new hotel, really nice! Easy access to I-44, and pretty much anywhere you want to go!

Jeremy I hopped over to SL and was reading...did not see anything about pre-registering, just make sure your here by 10 AM.

They are going to have some bands in the clubs downtown to promote something on the ballot, IDK :roll: anyway it could get crowded on the events Scott Horberg has going on downtown, just have to see :doh:
I sure hope you all can get a chance to make it though! :bow:

Car show entries -- no pre registration fee, but you must sign up on the list on ScionLife. Just copy the most recent list and add you name to it and re-post it. Here is the link for that thread. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=136191&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0We must limit the list to 80 Scions who are entering the car show. Please if you are on the list and bringing more than one car, add your name to two spots. If you are coming but not bringing a car, remove your name from the list. There will surely be people who sign up that don't make it and people who don't sign up that do make it. Here is the deal, we will have a list printed off of ScionLife the day of the show. If you want your guaranteed spot at the show YOU MUST BE PRESENT AND REGISTERED BEFORE 9:30am. After 9:30am, it is first come first serve on space. There is enough space for as many people who want to come I am sure, but in case there isn't we want an organized way to determine who gets into the show and who doesn't. If you enter the car show, you WILL NOT be able to move your car until after the show is ended. This will be roughly 4pm. The way we are parking cars to maximize space will make it to where you will not be able to move your car without disrupting the entire show, therefore if you enter you cannot leave until the car show is over. There will be someone there to help you park your car and make sure you get into the space you are supposed to be in. When you pull in, he will find you and begin directing you into the appropriate place. Once your car is parked, please visit the Scion tent and get a registration form from the Scion Girls. This show is judged with cleanliness in mind, so we are giving you plenty of time to clean your car before judging begins at 12:30 am. The show itself starts at 11:30 and awards are at 3:30. We will allow people to begin parking at 8:30. If you have questions please email us at scinergyoz@gmail.com or post up in our forum. We look forwards to seeing all of you and having a great time again this year! There will plenty of things to do as well, so come out, shine up your Scion and let's all have a ball!

:D OK GUYS......well as far as Sunday morning!! I think the best place to meet up will be the Taco Bell on Sunshine really close to Grant St. (the Mickey D's) is just a couple of doors down and if you need some breakfast we can get it and bring it up to the Taco Bell lot. It is a large lot that we can get together before rolling on down to the Skatepark. There is a larger lot across the street that belongs to Outdoor World who I think is having something going on this weekend, not sure on that though. For those who need a wash before the show, we can find you somewhere to get washed, but nothing really super close :|
Am so glad to have you guys here :bow: Just hope the weather stays nice, sounds like it will be cool with a high of 55, so far!

I was worried about him, too, Cathy. He's obviously a veteran at this.

Cody was up and out of here by 6am with 5 espressos -- I'm sure he had to stop to pee although he was hoping to make it without any stops after he filled with gas.

It was really good to get to hang out with you Cathy. Hopefully Scikotics made an impression on Springfield and all of the hard work you and Scott have put into this will start to pay off.

We had a great time -- I'm glad we could make it.

Big thank you to everyone that made this show happen. Stephanie and I had a great time chatting with everyone Saturday night at the pre-party as well as everyone at the show on Sunday. We had a great time and I want to give a big thank you Cathy for helping us out and showing us around a little bit. It was great seeing everyone and I alrealy am looking forward to next year. See you all at the next S3.

I made it home around 10:15 tonight, actually I came home took a shower, then off to a dentist appt. after the dentist appt. met up with a friend, and we started watching Over the Hedge in the back of the car til the fuel guy showed up. Then we flew up to the OK side of Lake Texhoma for catfish (yes we did fly an airplane just to go to dinner), then to a friends house to play Halo and now I am home. Tomorrow we are flying to VEGAS!!!!

I think the espresso had a delayed effect. about half way in between TUL and OKC I was drifting off. I stopped in OKC for gas and to take a 30 minute cat nap. Then went non stop all the way to Arlington, and never had to go pee (wierd).

For anyone that ever has the oppurtunity to have a cup of Jaquetta espresso, do make sure you have a cup or 5, it is wonderful. Thank you Jon and Jaquetta for letting me crash on the couch for a few hours. And the couch is comfy
