488 miles later... I'M HOME! Total of 978 miles round trip! The xD got great gas mileage though... I was getting around 37 mpg!

We got home yesterday evening at about 8. Not too bad, about an 8.5 hour drive.

The Indy crew made it home at about 12:30 AM Monday morning. We did have one casualty though. IndyTorchedPenny got a busted windshield on the trip back. She was driving down the highway with no one around, went over a transition strip in the pavement and heard a popping sound like a bug hitting the windshield, looked up and saw the crack shooting down the windshield from the top. Definately from the vehicle flexing, hopefully Scion will warranty it for us.

my windshield did the same thing and the Scion dealer didn't want to replace it so I raised hell (i'm pretty good at being an asshole) with the service manager and he agreed to warranty it. so if they say no at first, ask for the service manager and push the issue and they'll probably do it.

The SoCal Kern County Chapter made it home in one piece. We left Tulsa Sunday morning at about 8:30 I think. We drove to Moriarty, NM and stayed the night there. We got up yesterday morning and left at 9:20am. We arrived home at about midnight.

2,960.5 miles round trip
About 52 hours of round trip driving

But it was well worth it. Great time had by all. The show was off the hook and the cars were awesome. I hope to be there again next year.
