I installed a CAI a week ago and the CEL just came on, i don't understand what it could be. I have a 2009 TC

Which intake was it?
My cel has thrown for MAF/VAF half the summer. Kept clearing it. I cleaned my maf sensor too. It comes on time to time for me still but not very often and will go off after a day or 2. Just check it at an advanced or anywhere with a scanner and see what it says.
Make sure all of your hose connections are tight and have no leaks.
The cleaner I used for my MAF is MAF Cleaner, I bought it at Advanced so one near you should have it. I forgot the brand I'll check later today.

I'm going to try and reset it today.
I have a guy bringing a scanner on saturday to check it out.

I've got the same one. Really there isn't any difference in brands for intakes. But it does seem odd it's happening to both of us. I may try just putting a new filter on it this year and seeing if that helps.

Its cause of the pipe size. Big proplems with alot of intakes out there had a aem before my turbo n no issues

What size is the Raceland? I know my Injen is 3" with a 2.5" chokedown for the MAF.

This is the code that I got:
P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
Anyone have a clue about what that is?

Doesn't look like it's your intake afterall. Hopefully not worse tho.

I am thinking it has something to do with that other piece that mounts onto the CAI, kind of behind the MAF sensor..

I reset the code and it was back on in a day.
Weird thing is, is that when i start my car the first few seconds it's running the maintenance required light blinks.

the blinking of the maint reqd light means its getting near the time for an oil change

Yeah, it's just a counter. Nothing major.

if the code p0441 is on it should have had another code come on with it and that would be a loose gas cap or a bad seal in the cap thats what my code was and got a new gas cap and hasnt came on again.

I don't think it's the gas cap since he's not the only one to have trouble with the RL CAI.

My gas cap is fine and I always make sure it clicks three times when I put it back on..
