blacked out!

so i blacked out my headlights and taillights with spray on tint. turned out a whole lot better than i thought it would. i like the way it looks...only one problem...even with my brights on the lighting is really bad. so my question is about brighter bulbs. what is the brightest i can get without having to do the HID? I dont really wanna mess with the HID conversion and not be able to have the blue lights that id want if i did it. i currently just have the stock bulbs. hope this makes sense to the more car savy people.

i dont think so. all halogen bulbs should have the same output. i believe HIDS are worth it to get anyway. 35w compared to 55w. 3x light output. and more durable =) 120$ can get u a set on amazon.com = xentec. it works good, most of my friends got it already. looks fuckin sweet. btw 3 days and its gon be at ur doorstep ^^

get the mobile hids... there is not a conversion, it is plug and play... and you are going to get more looks from cops for having tinted headlights then you will for the 8000k HIDS.... so just do it!

I say go with the HID's to fix the lighting issue.

That is exactly the reason I didnt tint my headlights. When I get HIDs I probably will tho!

it doesnt bother me that much just driving in town...i dont know how ill like it if i have to travel out of town at night though.

i have blacked out reflectors on my box with HIDs, the light output at night is HORRIBLE, bad enough to buy a second set of headlights for winter up here.

painted head lights look good but there is a few guys that have took apart the headlight and painted the housing looks ALOT better

tinting headlights is dumb IMO, bake them open and paint the housing so you dont mess up the visibility

I baked mine and painted all ribbed surfaces black. The light output was barely effected and they look much better during the day. I am doing the same things to my fogs now.

If you are worried about the blue headlights, go with 5k or even 6k HIDs. They have more light output and its more white than blue.

Installed the Angel Eyes from Oznium and blacked out the eyelids. Looks clean....forget smoking the entire lense....Just looking to get pulled over..

i baked mine and did the whole process too i dont do things half ass i would not car on my civic but i do on my scion to new and nice to mess up and besides its my daily driver...
