I am looking to buy an exhaust for my box and was trying to get everyone's input on which one they would buy. I used to have the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust on my BSP box and liked it especially the 4.5" tip. I want one that's loud and gives me a little extra horse. Any thoughts please post.
I want a really loud exhaust!!!

i run the strup axle back and strup header on both our xB and really like the sound and great performance gains as well .
they are also a site supporter so we get a group discount .. ..

Cool, isn't it like $390 for both? How much horse do you gain with each?

i think its like ( but dont quote me ) like 6-8 each .
here's the web site http://www.strup.us/
The exhaust has a nice tone to it , not raspy sounding like some ..

Did you do any custom piping? Cause I want mine loud. How big is the tip?

i had a magnaflow 2.25 inlet with a 3.0" out let and it was loud and proud that thing was awsome i wish i still had it but i got the evo II on know quiet but does the job. with the magnaflow i had 2.25 from the cat back it was a force you could feel as soon as you hit hte gas.

I recently got my strup last week and Im selling it to zereaux this weekend.
Don't get me wrong, OP if you want a loud exhaust, get the Strup, definately. It's no where near ricer, its nice and deep. Quality is AMAZING on the strup, great welds.
It's just too loud for my taste, the droning above 60 and under 50 kills me. Im gonna go with the Greddy Evo 2, I hear it sounds stock. :)
i love my GReddy SP2. its nice and quiet, but has a great low rumble until i get on it.
but if you want LOUD, then go with Strup.

I didn't want to be as loud as the rest of you seem to be. I have the TRD exhaust with AEM CAI....I only gain 2-3 HP, but I love the hum it has. :-P
what other exhaust are out there that are not loud. the Xb is really the wifey's car and she don't go for the loud stuff.

I have a DC sports, and I love it.. It's not "That" loud unless I want it to be.. If I floor it from take off, it can get kinda loud, but for basic driving it's not that bad.

Greddy and TRD are pretty much the quietest unless you get the DC sports and use the silencer, but I hear it causes more restriction than stock.

The new line of tanabe's are as quiet if not quieter than trd

Aftermarket exhausts in general are not meant to be quiet.

True, but theres bound to be at least one out there that is. Every review Ive read say's the EVO 2 is quiet, but I'm having trouble taking that for word.
Don't get me wrong, a low rumble at low RPM would be awesome, I just dont want a drone while Im going over 60 and under 50.
Just my opinion though, to each his own!

i like the A'pex Active Tail Silencer idea... silent at idle and normal operations, but opens up on full throttle and lets the car next to you go  ...
