Hey everyone!!!! sorry I haven't been on... I have had the worst two weeks ever.. and then I'm out my car this weekend :evil:..

So, I'm thinking the next meet will be either Friday feb. 4th or Saturday Feb. 5th?!?! Let me know which date is better for the more people to come!!

Dave n Busters sounds fun?!?!! I feel like play some pool and just hangin' out!! Around 5:30?

okay so apparently no one in chicago is interested in a meet. even though in two weeks i'll be getting texts messages about when a meet is... you all get texts to check the forums when i post... so does this mean no one is interested in a chapter... ?!?!?! I think its a lil tuff right now I had a Evolution guy here at my store
he said everybody is quiet right now. Most people are broke alot of
people are paying the bills instead of customizing cars or even just
the price of gas is a cost.

I will support the Chicago chapter and look forward to some meets
and think we will regroup strong in the spring.

Well Kevin, I'd like to say the same but I posted up in the IL forums and might be shutting Chicago down. I give it one week and no one is posting on keeping it alive so I don't know whats going on. everyone wants to SAY they are apart of the club but no one want to BE apart of it!

If times are so tough people should be spending more time indoors and on the computer. You would think that people would be posting more, trying to stay in touch here on the forums. However this just isn't true. People don't seem to take any time to post on here. They log on but never seem to post. I have no clue why. If people would take the time to post in the Illinois or Chicago forums then I would love to keep the Chicago chapter open. I've tried helping Sarah keep the chapter open but if no one cares enough to take a minute to post nor go to a meet then we have no choice but to close the chapter. Chapters must have 4 active members to stay open. This hasn't been the case for months or longer.

I hate to close a chapter I'd rather see one flourish. So to all the members of the Chicago chapter I beg you to post up either in the Illinois forum or the Chicago fourms if you wish to keep the chapter open.

I guess your right shut down Chicago Chapter. As long as I
can remember there never was anybody in the chapter who lived
in Chicago. We never had a meet or even a event in the city of
Chicago. It has always been south suburbs or Schaumburg area.
It is a real shame.

I just got out of meeting today with Scion Corp. We will be seeing
alot of Music and Art festivals and corparate events coming up.
We are going to see a Re launch for tC and launch of the IQ.
Things are going to change for the better and I am excited about
what Scion is going to bring to the market.

Trust me I know how it feels when no one wants to do anything until after the meet date and then they want to know what happened. Don't get discourage and let people get to you. Keep moving forward even if it kills you :lol:

I think another meet needs to be scheduled and see what happens. Just make a date, time and place and see who comes out. I know the weather plays huge factor in who is able to come out so attendance may not be great.

I think its time that everyone be taken off the roll call and have the yellow chapter name taken off and those who decide its important enough to come out or post can have Chicago under their name and those that don't just won't get the privledge.

For now I think closing the chapter may be premature. Lets get that meet scheduled and see what happens from there. I know its frustratiing for you Sarah but lets give this at least another shot. Get a meet scheduled, post in on here, post it to facebook and send texts to everyone and hope everyone shows up. I'm sure Kevin will work with you on providing food or something if you ask him. Pick something fun and warm and something in the middle of everyone.
