Tach Wire?

I'm about to buy a shift light for my 07 tC and was told I have to connect it to my tach wire. Any idea where that is? Besides behind the tach...lol I appreciate any help.

i just installed a tach in my car the wire is on the obdII port its the wire black wire thats the furthest to the left
