I've been trying to spread to word about SciKoticS in the deep south area on scionlife. For about two years now :lalala:

A few other clubs/web sites have started up and disappeaed. The intrest is a Scion car club is still a little week, but we do have a few die hard people down there that will fit into the family very well :up:

If this is your area, chime in here, and start a topic of your state in the Member@large section. (right here)

We're here to help you guys out, so let us know what we can do.

Well, I started a thread on SL about this to get people's opinions and just to see if it would be even possible for a Louisiana club... hopefully we'll get something together soon... I'd like to get something together before the next car show in October... well, back to work I go...

Arkansas is the second official chapter of SciKoticS after the original in Tulsa.
We still only have about 5 members scattered accross the entire state. :doh:

My point is, interest is very slow in the deep south. I've been hanging tough for almost two years.
If you guys stick it out, have patience, :zzz: lots! You should have no trouble keeping interest in a SciKoticS chapter.

We have a great time at car shows together, and we always pick up new members after events.

Allot of fun people nation wide.

Let me know if I can help out any more. I don't want to be a pain in the ass on sl so I'll leave your started topic alone. :lalala:

looks like we will start off in baton rouge and spread like varicose veins :)

LA is a small state, but the roads suck...

2 of us are in baton rouge, one in port allen, basically west baton rouge, and one in prairiville, basically south baton rouge... 4 of us really close together... hopefully we'll get more interested once a club is fully established... a couple of others within 40 to 60 miles away, a few others twice that distance... they should be introducing themselves soon :D

IHZ here, but just call me Devin. Im the deepest of the south, Houma.

If we can get this running I have about 2-3 people interested.

edit: Wanted to add, this site is amazing. The features are wonderful and so updated. Im really in awe I though SL had a great message board but this one just rocks. The image popup thing blew me away.

And thanks for the compliment. We actually have a bug with the image thing but they are working on a patch for it. It makes it where some of the links dont show up as thumbnails, like yours.

We are realllly south, but there are at least 12 xb's buttload of tc's and a few xa's here that I see around.

Its really cool that Houma is growing so well, and that scion is spreading this far.

I'm still here, just lurking as usual. I lived in Houma for a few months about 5 years ago. It's really nice down there. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get to do any fishing while I was there. Anyway, count me in for Red Stick Scikotics, or whatever we end up calling ourselves :)

so, how does this work? we have met the requirements for scikotics:


Although we are a very laid back club, we do have a few rules.
1. You must own a Scion.
2. Don't be an asshole.
3. Try to have monthly meets at the very least.
4. If you decide to change the stickers, you must leave the basic logo (the font) the same.
5. Don't make your chapter into a clique (small, exclusive group of people, as in: I wasn't invited to join their clique.)
6. If you get banned from the website, you are out of the club, period.

we all know the rules, at least, we all do now :)
is there anything else we need to know? i'm pretty sure there is...
