As some of you know, i was building a new dash and amp rack for my b. my dead line was May 16th, since we were leaving for the Ames show that morning. needless to say we got everything together and working with minimal time to spare. there are some bugs that need to be worked out, and some fitmet issues that need to be addressed, but for doing all of this in the time frame i had, along with working on Crystal's tc at the same time, everything turned out awesome! I could not have done this with out help tho, and i want to give major props to 1st of all, my Wife Crystal... she gave me some great ideas, and lots of input, and spent countless nights with me in the garage! My boy Rook taught me a thing or two, and was my right hand man thru the entire build, and of course i gotta give it up to the Jerminator, Kevin with the hot gold rims, Kevin Lopez, and Mark Nellis.. you guys helped me in a major time crunch, and Crystal and I really appreciate the help you guys offered!
and here are the pics... starting with the dash!

next we move onto the amp rack... i didn't get many pics of the biginning steps, but you'll get the idea. both the dash, and amp rack were mage using 1/4" round stock, and 1/8" flat stock. i learned how to weld during this process!

the round stock worked aot better than building a wood frame. its easy to bend, cut, weld, and wont warp or tweak when stretching fabric over it. my friend introduced me to it, and gave me a few crash courses with it during the amp rack build, and i basically took off like a mad man after i bought a welder..lmao!
thanks for all the props guys!!!

very nice build. a pile of raw metal is always the best way to learn how to weld. can't wait to see it at asylum.
