RS7 windshield issues....

so on out way down to Oh. to pick up my RS5 my wife and I heard a loud whistling sound coming from the center top of the windshield. I was able to push on it from the inside and make it come and go.

We took it to the dealership and they figured out that it was the seal. So they get another one ordered and when they go to put the original w.s. back in, it cracks. After about 3-4 days we finally get it back.

When my wife picked it up no one told her about not washing it and when she tried getting the tasty salt coating off it she noticed water was dripping on the passenger side dash board.

1st is this an issue with the redeisgned xB? We went through hell with her 06 and windshields

2nd because she washed it too early do you think that it ruined the adhesive?

Back to the dealership Thurs. I got a little pissy with the service rep. over the phone about the glass installer getting adhesive on the fender, yippie.

I'm usually pretty laid back and I think I let my bad day at work get the best of me when I went off on the service rep.

But in my defense, they didnt test it the first time they had it before they gave it back to me, we got it back dirty, it had 3 smudges of the black adhesive they use for the windshield on the driver's side fender. I thought they would offer to maybe pick up her car from her work and drop off a loaner since this is the second time in about a week that its been in.
