I got the first ones and love em! Factory fit, couldn't ask for better! It's basically the VRD grills that they sell for the tC's.

SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know they made this type for our cars. I have always seen them on the tCs and thought they looked nice. Time to get rid of the mesh crap that I have on there now!! Thanks guys!!

Nice lookin' grills Cory and factory fit as well... those are very tempting and at that price, they are hard to pass up. I'm guessing they were very easy to install? They look like they have a very "open" pattern, so you can see everything behind them... does that enhance the look in your opinion?

just paint behind the grille so it just looks plain black. A lot or people with red rs6.0's do it, I did it on my SuperWhite because I got the grillcraft grille, and you can see white showing behind the grille.

Exactly what I was thinking about doing as I have SW as well. How difficult was it to do and what kind of paint did you use? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! ;) You have any pics of how it turned out?

Just like with anything else you get, it's all in the eye of the beholder. I got my grills at http://www.figureengineering.com/. I wanted a Murasaki/silver type theme.

Yeah, eventually I'm going to paint the gold piece behind it, just didn't have the time yet and I wanted the grills on, lol.

The factory ones just pop and these pop right back into place. You do have to take the bumper off to get to the bottom grill or you'll probably do more harm trying to pull it off. There's a bunch of little tabs that hold them on.

After paint

It was very easy to do and it's amazing the difference it makes. I have the grillcraft upper grille. I'll probably sell it in the spring though because I just got lucky and picked up and RS6.0 grille.

That looks sick after you got the painting done. An RS6.0 grille eh? I'm officially jealous... been trying to get my hands on one of those for a while now.

Was wondering how the fit/finish was on these. Glad to hear the fit is as good as the looks. Anyone have more pictures of these installed?

You take out the original ones and install these. I did both grilles to match. It's an easy install.

I am not sure when but I will be picking up the ABS ones, so I can take some pictures of them once I pick them up. Will probably be a few weeks.

With that being said I will have a set of grilles much like the ones Hellen4Wheels has for sale. Mine are sprayed black though, I will respray them before I sell them.

Do the ABS grilles have two different patterns? Some of the stock photos make it look like there is a difference between the top and lower pattern.

The ones I have are the same pattern top and bottom. Both fit really nice. I'd deff recommend them for the price they are. Even though they've only been on for a month, mine are still holding up strong since.

Cory - you think I could get away with cutting out that lower grille for fogs without screwing up the rigidity of the grille overall? I just want to make sure I can do that before I buy them. Your input would be appreciated.

I thought about that cuz fogs was one of my future mods I wanted, but if you look at the second pic I posted, the grill pokes out a bit on the cross sections. Don't know if that would affect the way the fogs sit against the grill. Haven't really been up close to a set of the fogs to give my honest opinion though, sorry.
