Street warriorz car show in tulsa ok this weekend was a blast...first time I had my car at the track with the turbo. I was running 9 lbs of boost no nitrous. my best two runs of the night were my first one and last one! funny how that works...
from first run to last:
VS mustang GT--win ran a 14.293 @ 100.13 mph he ran a 14.554
VS jeep cherokee--win ran a 14.604 @100.32 mph he ran a 16.264
Next two runs I missed second bad and just cruised down the strip.. 18 sec and a 21 sec...lol i was pissed
VS mustang gt--win ran a 14.368 @ 100.46 mph he ran a 14.530
VS Infiniti G35 --Win ran a 14.484 @100.55 mph he ran a 14.506
VS some muscle car (not sure) LOSS ran a 14.525 @ 100.21 mph he ran a 11.562
then midnight drags started and I got one race in without time sheet
VS mustang gt win
Then last run of the night
VS civic hatchback 07 -- win 14.141 @ 101.25 mph and she ran a 17+
Pretty fun night! I had a blast.. Next time i'm going to run the nitrous after we tune for it.

Thats cool man
I know I can't base what I want to do off other ppl numbers but have you dinod it to see what ur putting to the wheels. When I do go turbo I want to run high 13's to low 14's. Just need to know how much power I will nee to get there. At least this way I can chose the right size turbo.

I'm assuming you got an auto?
Nice runs! It's always nice to smoke a V8 lol

yea i was gonna say at 9psi u should have been running like low 13s IMO. krdshrk ran a 14 flat in his turbo auto tc at 8psi. so yea ur car can def do better. keep practicing dude.

7psi... :)
I had drag radials though - those make a big difference.

damn - i was gonna say - 9psi should DEFINITELY put you in the 13s.
Look into drag radials - find someone selling cheap ugly wheels on ebay, slap some $250 drag radials on em, and you'll lower your ETs by up to half a second at least.
Still not terrible - 14.2 with a crappy launch is pretty decent. What's your reaction time and 60ft ET?

on the 14.2 run it was the following:
R/T .681
60 2.347
330 6.221
1/8 9.329
mph 78.71
1000 12.032
1/4 12.293
mph 100.13
My best R/T of the night was .342 but ran a 14.368
A couple more times to the track and I will get it.

reaction time isn't really that big a deal... it's the 60' time... 2.3 60' is bad... put on some drag radials and you'll get down to 2.0 and you'll be in the 13's easy.

I have two stock wheels I can throw some BFG drag radials on. what size do you think i should get?
