K&N or injen both are nice, ive heard nebsters and it sounds amazing but so does the k&n plus the K&N has a water protector sleeve thing so no water can get in unless it was like fully submerged, your safe with either

I am clearly the minority here. While many chose K&N, Injen, etc, I went with the Weapon-R Secret Weapon (short-ram with hardware to convert to full-ram) and the Cold-Air Box from Monster Motorworks. I have been very pleased with this intake and can tell you that I have noticed a clear increase in pull throughout the powerband. I coupled this with the TRD exhaust and together it has a throaty tone and doesn't really sound ricey even when I get into the throttle. People can give you their opinions all day long, but each person is looking for something different. My advice would be to decide what it is you want out of the hardware you are shopping for and then do your homework to find out which one has been proven to give you the results/response you are expecting.

i have the K&N CAI on my xB Manual trans , and it fits like a glove noticable increase Gaurantee said 8.1 hp .

My Daughter has the AEM cai on her xB automatic and it also works very well , there is however a slight fitment problem with the factory fog lights
that had to be addressed ( no big deal ) the top of the filter hits the connection on the light and pushes it out , i had to adjust the brackets
and add a thicker spacer to slightly lower the filter ..

For the tC, the Injen has the highest gains.

I was lookin at air intakes on car domain and it says the injen is not carb approved. is that true and does it matter in texas? also what are good prices for intake?t

1. gains are marginal until you mate it up with header and full catback exhaust, even still, the real world gains are pretty debatable. All the same, you may make that dyno sheet look pretty

2. Injen isnt CARB approved, no shouldn't matter in Texas.

Where is the best place to get an Injen intake? Do any sites give us discounts?
