Car Alarm wont stay off

How do you fix a factory installed alarm from going off on its own??? This morning about 2am and then again about 3 am and then 9pm our xBs factory alarm went off there was no one out there and no animals near our car. I looked ing the owners manual for this information.

The "factory" alarm is actually an accessory. I purchased mine from TRD Sparks and installed it myself. The only sensor included is sonic, and so the only adjustment available is the microphone sensitivity. If it's firing unexpectedly, then either there is a probem with the alarm, or the microphone sensitivity is set too high.

My suggestion would be first to try to correlate the alarm firing with an actual sound occurring in the vicinity of your xB2. If you can't, then I suggest reviewing the alarm installation instructions and easing back on the sensitivity. If you don't have the instructions, TRD Sparks has them available for download.
