View Full Version : finally got some exhaust

like the title says i had to go out and get one. its from the resonator all the way. just a simple 2" pipe all the way back to a canister that has a real nice low tone to it. and needless to say it was WAY cheaper to just have it all custom made. heres a couple of shots. sorry they just got taken and its 2am here.

nice and deep. not overpowering. only thing ive noticed is that now i have a new rattle. just gotta try to find it

i had the same problem, heat shield was touching... wasnt consistent, so i had to look for the spot it was closest to, and bent the heat shield a little and lowered the exhaust a hair and that fixed it...

yeah i was figuring it was something touching. did yours just always rattle or was it periodically. mine pretty much will rattle for 2-3 seconds while in 2nd gear and thats it

i have an automatic, but it would just rattle when i would start to go from a complete stop...

Yeah thats typical for those cars, especially the ones outside the US........was never a problem the first gen xB's ever had though.......FYI. :icon_tongue:
