Another newb Question on wheels

I am looking at a AXIS wheel that I really like. The problem is it is a 9" wide wheel. Specs 18x9 with a +40 offset. Will the 9" wheel work without rubbing?

I may put on the TRD springs later on.

Tires are 235/40/18.

my guess is yeah, its gonna rub... rolling the fenders and flaring them out a little will get them to fit...

Do you think it will still rub if I don't lower it?

you know what, i was wondering that same question because my old lady has a xd. i was looking at the rear fenders and its not as much lip as my gen 1 xb. ive seen eight inch wide wheels on the D with a 37 offset and it was pretty close to being flush on a trd drop. are you sure the 9 inch wide wheels would work because thats something i want to do too.
