Hey Tim,
Any word on a TRD CAI for us 2011 xB owners? How hard is it for TRD to produce the grill insert to make the CAI fully functional? The 2011's have been out for 8 or 9 months now. I WANT MY TRD CAI NOW!!

Not feelin' the love from TRD down here in Texas.

I just checked and updated today it is now available. Engineering a new cold air intake for a new vehicle generally takes a while as Toyota has a lot of new vehicles to engineer parts for. I am sorry you are not feeling the love, but please let me know if you want to order one. Thanks!

Correction on my last statement. TRD is coming out with one and we do have a part number. The problem is no one has stock as of yet and are keeping our eye on this.

I believe it is in stock now. The only problem is that it is $390. I understand it is "carb legal" but those $250 Injen intakes are very tempting. I also get the feeling that it is not much different from the 2010's intake which is $300. There is very little product description on the 2011 TRD intake.

They are available now and TRD completely redesigned the system for the CAI on the xB. You will no longer need the vent on the bumper and the air box is in the engine bay instead of behind the front fender liner.
