I REALLY liked the xB until about late this summer. I took it as far as I had planned to and the way I envisioned it, but I just don't love it. The stability control p!sses the sh!t out of me when it shuts down my fun on a clover leaf. I like to come out of a corner full on the throttle with the vehicle sliding just a tad out of control. HELL YA!!!
This BMW has always been on my radar, but they've always been priced too high or too many miles. When I was 35, the insurance was $135/month, now that I'm in the 40 club, it's $47/month, and $36 more per year than the xB.:Banane03:

Eh, moving on happens. Keep in touch man.
Also starting in 2012 stability control is mandatory on all cars sold in the US. Hopefully most sports cars keep it easy to turn off.

It was $30 cheaper to transfer the plates than get reg new ones.
I think it actually looks funnier here than on the xB.

It would turn back on when I'd hit 30 mph, might be an auto thing.

But, I thought I was King Shit!:trophy:
The xB was my first non-german car in 15 years. I don't regret owning it, just had too many little things that bugged the shit out of me.

you had to hold the traction control button down for a few seconds and it would shut off completely.

BMWs are nice cars.
My father has a new (2 years old) 5-series. But, the driving experience is a bit different than the B. Depending on the road, sometimes I prefer one and sometimes the other. The BMW is amazing at speed and sweepers. But, at slow speeds and switchbacks (I love TIGHT ones), the xB seems a bit more "raw" and "elemental." I like that. The xB is my second favorite vehicle I've driven on tight, twisty mountain roads- only my Miata is better. That includes a decent number of other vehicles, too. The xB is the only one that has the cargo capacity, "sleeper" factor, and is STILL a blast on mountain roads.
The BMW is RWD (as is the Miata), while the B is front. That makes a different as to the WAY it drives.
Cracker, I wish you the BEST! Enjoy the new-to-you Beemer! I hope you enjoy it as much as you hope and think you will. Farewell B, Long-live the Beemer (Until you miss the B enough to get another   )

Wow Jason...another sad day in the Scion World. Sorry to here that you got tired of the B. To bad you didn't think about just getting a winter runner and keep your B for summer fun times. Hope you come back soon with a new Scion.
Merry Christmas Jason.

Thanks guys!
The 540 pissed me off at the gas pump Thurs, didn't know I had a 20 gal tank!!! Almost $60 without a wash! Still though, lovin' the rock solid feel of this car. First mod on the way, smoked signal markers.
