alright ladys n gents...it saddens me so say this but i was in n accident with my tc a few weeks ago :( not extremely bad just wat i thought to be body damage at first over the front drivers side tire..and the damn insurance company is taking for ever to get n adjuster out to inspect the damn car...however....lately the the entire front left of the car has been sounding really bad (kinda like a thud sound) with goin over any type of bumps (aka railroad tracks, dips in the road...etc..) i checked clearance on the tire and inside tire well and the front quarter panel and theres no visible look of the tire hitting them when goin over the bumps to make the noise....
so basically i need a little bit of a checklist to wat i should look at over this weekend when i finally get a chance to get her jacked up n tires pulled...and without having to take anything to a garage to get it fixed..is there anyway if u pull the front left coilover to tell just by a visual inspect that the damn thing broke or got bent somehow?....
i already had the front left tire pulled a few days ago when i first started hearing the sound but only had like n hr before work so it was just a quick look over to make sure no bolts/nuts were missin newhere...but since then the noise has just been gettin worse and the cars been pullin to the right awfully hard (reminder damage done to front left)...
i mean i have some mechanic knowledge but not a ton when it comes to suspension so any help for this little look over check list would be awesome....thanks in advance!
