basically if your looking for new rims but dont wanna buy new tires and are looking to stay with the factory set of tires then get a set of tires that is whatever the factory tires are I believe they are 17x7.5 not sure.
That way you can get a new set and keep your existing tires, hope that helps.

Yeah thats what I am saying you need to get 17x7.5 rim so you can keep using your stock tires..

Get 17x7 or 17x7.5 wheels, 5x100 bolt pattern, and anywhere between +35 and +48 offset.
The stock tires suck though... They're bad to the point of being dangerous in the rain.
Check out Edge Racing (http://www.edgeracing.com) for great prices on wheels. Almost all of their 17" wheels will fit the stock tires.

well i'll be the first to say it. Doing 17's is kind of a waste. Your going to get them on and then your going to say damn i should have gone bigger (thats what i did with my 19's). Then your going to have to swap out your rims for your stock rims bc of winter. Honestly its a lot more hassle than its worth. If your worried about ride quality go with 18's and if your a badass go with 19's. Plus the stock tires are almost dangerous in the summer. Leave them for winter and get some good hp tires
But hey its your ride and do what you wish but that is just my suggestion. Take it or leave it.

Hey thanks for the tip or idea whatever you want to call it. Well i wont' be getting any rims or anyting until my bday/xmas since they are only ten days apart. I'm just trying to find what i need so i can show my rents what i want.
So i can use my stock tires in the winter and then put bigger ones on after winter? is that what ur sayin? that's why i posted up cause i'm clueless!

Personally I am going to agree with nick that 17x7.5 or 17x8 is the way to go. Although bigger wheels look hot, if you want a good combiantion of comfort and looks 17s are an excellent way to go, it brings that much more mass that much closer to the hub. Whatever you decide to go with, go at least 7.5" wide, 8 perferrably, match it with some good tires and you are good to go!

i believe the stock rims are 17x7 but it could be 17x7.5. anyways i think you should just stick with 17's but definately get new tires to go with them. the stock ones are horrible. i suggest the nitto neo gen tire in a 225/45/17. that's what i'm rolling on and they are great for traction in wet or dry conditions. and you can get the at discounttire.com for 94 bucks a piece.

I'd say get a new set of wheels AND tires. You can leave the stock tires on the stock wheels for winter and just swap new wheels with better tires for summer. This way will save you the hassel of having to move the tires from one set of wheels to the other.

Stock wheels are 17x7 +45 offset. And yes, the stock tires are horrible.
If you live in an area where it's gonna snow and you're only gonna use 1 set of wheels/tires all year round, get a wheel that's 17x7, with an offset of 35 to 45... and get a nice set of all-season tires, like the Avon Tech M550's I use. Falken Ziex Ze 512's are decent too.
If you really have to stick with the stock tires, you'll need a wheel that's 17x7 or 17x7.5 anyway.
Edgeracing has such great deals though, you might want to just get a wheel/tire combo.

On a BSP tC, go with black wheels with a polished lip... or silver. Colored wheels are hard to pull off nicely.

I think that with a black car you can get away with any color of wheel. It would just be a matter of your preference.
