I have a 2010 RS7.0 with 5600 miles on it. 3 weeks ago I started having a noise coming from my windshield so I took it to the shop and they replaced the seal. Well when I left I heard the same noise, so i am taking it back tomorrow. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem. I know the 06 had a problem with its windshield.

Hey, there's a bulletin about the right side A-pillar. They (Scion) know about this. Take to your dealer and request to have your A-pillar checked out.

Well I took it to the shop again today because the sound was worst today. When I picked it up, they said that it was the plastic that goes around the windshield wipers. The solution was to insulate underneath the plastic. Well guess what. It is still making that noise. My wife is not to happy. I think I will mention something about the pillar tomorrow. I appreciate everyones input.

Sorry so late but yes I too hv the 2010 rs7.0 and immediately after I bought and I started banking 80mph+ which is practically every single time I drive, I hv a squealing sound in the middle of my windshield. Reason I know it's there is because When I drive I push up on the roof liner in the middle and when I apply pressure it stops and no longer does it. I too have to bring it in for repair but just haven't had the time but now that I know im not the only one I will shoot for the repair asap and will report back. Try to put pressure and see if u cn locate the spot like I did n wen u go back js drive or hv one of the reps drive n apply pressure in the same area n prove it to them personally. That's what I'm going to do! Good luck and I'll report back soon.

Peace peace y'all and if i dnt say it ltr I'll say it now.....Merry Christmas to all Scikos Worldwide

I believe it is cause by the body flexing while driving. they have to take the windshield and most of the parts off the firewall and add a few welds..

I installed a TRD front strut tie bar in my 08 and have not had any problems. :D
