Well this is all good and I'm glad they got nominated, but we no longer have a Seattle chapter.

Membership dropped below the minimum requirements and we had to pull the plug.

We have a member trying to start one back up but for now there is no Seattle chapter.

Erik, feel free to go but I can guarantee there won't be an award to accept.

The vast majority of the people there will be Scion Evolution. If you look at the nominations you'll see that most of them nominated SE or SDG, Dustin just threw Scikotics so there would be another choice.

Yeah....I talked to them last friday @ a meet in the area, and they insisted on nominating us :P . I am not planning on going to their awards dinner, but it is nice to see some other scion owners in the area, and I don't mind combining meetings either, for now.

Erik & Matt (plus Sheep, Brad, etc.) -

Congrats on the nominations (not only as a club but also individually).

I wanted to ask if I could get pics of you guys to add to the Scion Community Yearbook I am making. Being a past Scikotics member, I agree with Jon (FrankenScion) that SE is very previlent up here in the Pacific Northwest. But I want to support the entire community and make a fun photo album, so please help if you can.

Is there anyone with contact info for Sheep or Brad (or any previous members)? Or pics of Great Strides, Alderwood M&Gs, and other events that Scikotics did this year?

I'm a previous member, I'm actually looking for Brad or Sheep myself, want to get a hold of them so I can get the contact to make a new decal as I had my passenger rear window replaced and the decal of course couldn't be saved. Long story as to why, no accident on my part, but the body shop the dealer sent my car to for reparing my popped rear strut really messed up, so my dealer ponied up and fixed everything without even me asking them and really did a great job, they told me what was up, what happened, what needed to be done, how long it would take, and how it would get done right and i said ok and they did it, no cost to me, had my whole rear lining replaced and my back seats and the hatch and the rear window just because of some minor scratches to material from the body shop. The dealer (Scion of Renton, Bob Bridge Scion) did a great job.

If I find either Brad or Sheep I'll let you guys know! I can't go to meets anymore because I'm up at college without my tC

that much I could tell, but I would still like to replace that decal, do you think your current "sticker people" can get one for Seattle done? should I just shoot them an e-mail?

I really don't want to remove the other one, I liked being in the club and those guys were awesome and I wish I were still in contact with them and if I had my car with me at school I'd be one of the guys trying to get a chapter set up again, I was one of the core guys until I took off for school.

Ya, just shoot them an email, they should be able to do it. We have one member there who is still trying to get a chapter going again. PM Kanchi and see if you two can get together or something.

I personally have had no luck getting in touch with either as wel, but if you do congrats. No one locally wants to atempt to make the side window stickers because it is a copyrighted item, FYI.

Thats a new one.

That's what I thought...lol

You could always give written permission if that were the case.

kanchi

Thats exactly what they said, they wanted written release to make the sticker, sice it is part of an organization (and I have no "proof" of membership), then get them a vectorized copy of the logo on disk or email it to them and then "we can talk price."

So yeah I'm gonna keep shopping...

FrankenScion

Why don't you just order some from the company that everybody else uses?

kanchi

I wanted side window stickers, just a bit bigger than the 3/4 xB widow stickers. The whole custom art process scares me, without doing proofs (printouts onpaper measured on the car) first. No offense to the sticker people, but I just figured that if I was gonna do somethng custom to have it done local so prevent any costly mistakes since I have a very precise size and color(s) in mind. I will contact him on Monday though and see what we can work out!

He has most measurements in the system, you should be fine.

That makes me feel better. Plus he has prices posted which is nice.
