I am looking for a high flow exhaust with a lower noise. My mission is to stay low profile, I drive close to 1000 miles a week for work all over Northern California and I don't need a cop magnet. :cool1:

www.strup.us

We get a discount, plus the xA exhausts are brand new so not too many people will have them.

How much $ are we talking and how do I order when I decide.

I just sent Charlie an email, the xA exhaust is so new I haven't got our prices on it yet. He usually writes back quick so I should be able to let you know tomorrow.
And to order you would just write him and then he will write me to verify that you are in the club.

Thanks, I didn't even know that strup made exhaust for an xA. I have heard that they have a nice mellow non rice-burner sound.

I'm pretty interested in having sometihn low profile, I would like something quiet...but with high flow, because my girlfriend hates loud "rice sounds" :pilot:

If you want low profile go with a tanabe medalion touring keeps the note under 93 db strup is an excellent company but the note is a little higher. That is the current trend in JDM culture keep the note low yet the power high.

the reason a lower note on JDM exahust is that in Japan they changed the law and they all have to be under a certain db. Just do some reaserch on the type of exahust and im sure you can find some sound clips. also we have a big resantor under the car so its kinda hard to get the weedwacker sound out of it unless you remove it. i have a cheap one off ebay and i don't think it sounds too bad and i payed about 70 for the muffler and installed

I found the answer, I just installed my new Injen exhaust, and strut bar, with progress sway on the way. Nice low tone but plenty of flow. I am one happy boy!!!! Now I am looking for a good set of 4-2-1 headers, looking for low and mid power. Does anyone have the DC Sports ceramic coated headers? Any other good headers that won't rust out in a year like the OBX ones that you can get on Ebay. Feedback welcomed!!!

Thanks, Snowman

Does anyone have the Megan header? It is a 4-1 but I heard it offers decent midrange power.
