I got a 09" tC. I have a TRD rear sway bar it's awsome it has 2 setting every day driving-OR-race/track, I left mine at track! It's sooo good and tight! I no longer have my rear tires jumping up and down and making squeals.

I dont have a front strut bar YET but if I'm gonna get one it will be 1ST DC sports 2ND TRD. DC sports cost less but some people dont like the twin tube look I don't mind. I like performance. The TRD has a nice one tube look and it's red so it will complement the rear TRD sway bar.

They are great upgrades if you want the car to handle better. I choose to go with non Trd parts on my car personally. The reason is because i personally thought that there are a lot better parts for the price than trd offers. I am not sure who all makes sways for a second gen xb ( I am thinking that is what yours is since it is a 08) But i know for most tc owners hotchkis as jaspers_xb suggested and progess are usally on the top of the list. I would do some research and make sure you do get something that is adjustable. I does help when driving the thing on the street. A example of that is i dont like to drive in the winter time with my sway on its stiffest setting because when the roads get icy here things get a bit hairy. If you have any questions please feel free to pm me and let us all know your plans.

Just be careful with the TRD rear sway bar. Half of them floating around have bad welds and break. They have a newer version out now but when you purchase one its hit or miss on which version you will get.

i'm running the stock front sway bar and the new type TRD rear sway bar. i went for the Tanabe front strut tie brace be cause you don't have to pull the stuff that the TRD bar does and with the Tanabe strut tie brace you have adjustments so you can put tension on the strut towers, it realy stiffens up the front end. i also went with Tanabe DF210's to get it down so it corners like a madman.

On a fwd, only a rear brace will give you the best handling. Front will provide for more understeer. Strut braces on any car is just icing on the cake. It does just about nothing as far as performance is concerned.

I have the CS-2 DC sports strut bar on my tC along with the Eibach front and rear sway bar. As for where to get them, I got my strut bar off amazon.com and the sway bars from redlinemotive.com. And I have no complaints.

Somewhat true.

Because the strut mounts are so close to the fire wall (and by close I mean basically on them) it does nothing to add a front strut bar. The purpose of the strut bar is to strengthen the front suspension, but since they sit on the most structurally sound part of the vehicle, it does nothing. Its purely aesthetic.
