On the day our nation has chosen to “officially” be thankful I would like to offer the following thoughts to all my Sciko friends:
For those reading this post - you are alive! You awoke to a day full of “cheery” fellow Sciko's, planning the day with family and friends – it is a good day!
You are wealthy! Statistics show that the average American is in the top 2% of the world – the WORLD! - In terms of income per person.
We have the ability to rise economically through effort and opportunity like NO OTHER PLACE IN THE WORLD! It is all in our CHOSEN perspective how we view our current station in life
We are all free! Free to chose our faith, where we work, where we live, where we travel, what we wear, our FOOD (I love food!), even what we can say! Seriously, can you really place a value on this?
All of us face challenges and victories, disappointments and successes, sometimes disaster or windfalls – how we chose to respond is in way a display of our “thankfulness”
I challenge all of my fellow Sciko's to consider the “positives”, stay humble and refuse to dwell on the negative or those things we cannot change – in other words...
