hey I was just wondering anyones opinion on the trd springs that are listed on scoins website for dropping the xD.
I don't really know very much about cars, but I know that I bought the xD with intentions of changing pretty much everything, and a drop is first.
but...the description said it should lower it only about 1 - 1.5 inches. I've been trying to imagine what it would look like, and it just doesn't seem like it would make a noticeable difference. Then again, I've never seen one in person...
any opinions? or...any pictures of a xD dropped with the trd springs? or...suggestions of another way to go :) ?
thanks guys!

Davante >> How much did yours drop?
All 3 of your xD's look freaking BALLIN'!!! I LOVE the big drops... I want to bag mine next summer hopefully!!! haha.
Aaron >> While it may only drop 1-1.5" it'll settle more over time, so no worries! You'll definately be able to tell a difference.

wow thanks for the fast responses.
do you guys have any opinions about replacing the shocks too? I was reading about drops, and found some stuff saying that drops (especially more aggresive ones) require you to replace the stock shocks, or that in general it just makes them give out faster...true? or overly-cautious? cause this shits already starting to add up :(
thanks again!
and yes... all 3 of your xDs look SWEET

My TRD's ride so ruff. They feel like they bottom out in the back when i hit a bump or a dip. I was thinking about changing to Tanabe DF210 to see if the ride was better.

TRD springs offer a conservative drop. Not too low and good for everyday use. Rides well also. Just a tad stiffer than stock.
I suggest getting the TRD rear sway bars as well. Big difference in control. Sad stock xD don't come w/ one.
Here's mine: (TRD springs & rear sway bars)

I'm also interested in the Yaris springs for my wifes XD '08. What's the ride like? How much cheaper are we talking about here, compared to the TRD springs? How much are rear sway bars?
